Hello, hello, hello...

The NZ Herald is reporting that the Police are investigating Labour's "We're Making a Difference for Everyone" pamphlet - and have been for two months! This, of course, is the pamphlet which the Electoral Commission ruled had breached the EFA, but for which they issued a warning. But it's not as a result of a complaint from the EC - it has taken a complaint from a member of the public to get the rozzers on the job!

There's obviousl;y been a lot going on behind the scenes, as Audrey Young reveals that the information only came to light yesterday during a High Court case taken against the EC by the National Party.

So what will happen? Based on experiences between 1999 and now of Police investigations of matters regarding the Labour Party - diddly squat!

Barnsley Bill touched on it elsewhere last night. The Police will announce their decision when Heather Simpson has made it!
