A bouquet...

Indeed, a big bouquet to all the medical and nursing staff for their care of Mrs Inventory over the last week or so. Just when we were starting to wonder if Adam Smith's Hotel California thread from the weekend had somehow morphed to us ("You can check in any time you like, but you can never leave"), Mrs I was discharged yesterday in a much better state than she arrived in.

So it's a big and heartfelt thank you to all at Wanganui Hospital. We hope not to have to avail ourselves of your services again for some good time! And thanks to all who have expressed kind wishes to Mrs I - much appreciated!

It is good to hear Mrs Inv is home and feeling much better. Now it is up to you to continue the TLC.

I am away from tomorrow afternoon until the end of August so if she wants the Bell she had better be quick.

Thanks for the offer pdm, but the Inventory whare is a bell-free zone. Mrs I makes use of modern technology such as txt messaging or e-mails to summons me when required!

BTW - do your travels happen to take you anywhere near Sydney at the weekend?

Glad to hear things went well

Tell Mrs Inv that a bell is always a good back up if you dawdle.

No won't be in Sydney unfortunately. I am managing two bowls tours the first with 50 participants, covering Sunshine Coast and as far north as Bundaberg (does not include the Rum distillery) and then to Coolangatta.

Then I move to Cairns to join with another group of 35 which my wife is supervising from Auckland. About a week in Cairns then we head south through Townsville, Airlie Beach and Whitsundays to Mackay from where we return on the 29 August.

Hell its a tough life sometimes.

BTW I was never allowed to use the Bell and I think it went in a garage sale some years ago.
