It's a vile morning here - cold, windy and wet, and every now and then an enormous clap of thunder! So it's definitely a day to be sat by the computer combining work and blogging, and where better to vent your spleen than the Friday Forum on Keeping Stock?
So welcome aboard, and thanks for sharing your thoughts with the blogosphere. And if regular correspondent pdm happens to log in from the Gold Coast (some people have all the luck!), there'll be an All Black thread tomorrow morning!

A crisp, pleasant day in Melbourne, no rain as yet. Bagel, salmon and cream cheese for brunch.
Great Chinese food last night.
Only fly in the ointment is that it appears Kevin Rudd is shaping up to be as bad as Helen, if not worse. Threatening states that do not vote Labour with less federal project funding
Greetings Adam - have you and the good Mrs Smith ventured up to Lygon Street yet? It is not only a splendid culinary experience, but a whole lot of fun.
In Cairns now buddy - what time does the test kick off. No one in Cairns even knows rugby exists.
Kickoff is 1am NZ time - I guess in North Queensland, that would be Eour-X o'clock!
Just so you know what you're missing pdm, there is a heavy snowfall warning for the HB ranges!
