Although he doesn't live in New Zealand, Owen Glenn has s sense of civic duty. And, as the Dom-Post reports this morning, he will co-operate with both the Serious Fraud Office and the Privileges Committee. That is good news for the public of New Zealand, but not be such good news for the former MP for Tauranga.
And in an interesting twist, but not entirely unexpected, Brian Henry has checked his records, and guess what? Winston Peters reimbursed him for the $40,000 that he paid out of his own pocket. Wow, it must be great to move in these circles where tens of thousands of dollars change hands willy-nilly. I'm sure that if I had made a payment of $40k on someone's behalf out of my own pocket, I'd remember if I had been reimbursed. But then what would I know? I'm just a right-wing blogger, not a Barrister or the former MP for Tauranga!

Yes, it was very important to go back and create the record which was necessary to obliterate that fatal confession in front of the PC.
Indeed Adolf. However, Henry presumably gave his evidence to the PC under oath, which to a Barrister of the High Court is not an inconsequential matter.
