Labour's new target market...

Winston Peters isn't even dead and buried yet, politically speaking (although many are arguing that he is a dead man walking), but already Helen Clark is muscling in on NZ First's key constituency - the elderly.

And from what Paula Oliver has written in this morning's Herald, this is a conscious strategy from Labour, with Trevor Mallard going to a Grey Power meeting as well yesterday. Which begs the question - did he threaten to give them the bash if they don't vote Labour First?

Whatever must Winston Peters be thinking, as he sees his faithful Grey constituency being lured away from him by his so-called "blood sister" - is that what he's wanting to complain to the SFO about today?

I wonder if they don't recognise Clark from her billboards and just think she is a new member of Grey Power.
