The election has been announced and Helen Clark says it will be about trust.
There are several problems with that, Keeping Stock lists some here and another is she hasn’t trusted us with any Labour Party policy yet.
She’s obviously been too busy with other things to worry about minor details like telling us what she’ll do if we’re silly enough to let Winston Peters and her loose with the reins of government again so I think we should help her with some policy ideas.
Now Homepaddock is a very community-minded blogger, and Keeping Stock applauds her call for the blogosphere to come to the Labour Party's aid. After all, we can't have the government operating in a policy vacuum when "This is an election about trust" can we!

Some simple transport policies to start with:
- Make the fast lane on all motorways just that. It should always be available for overtaking. Old grannies in the outside lane doing 80km\hr will be egged and paintballed.
- Change the WOF period on cars less than 10 years old to 1yr (currently 6 monthly for cars older that 6 years). I have a 2002 Toyota that runs like a dream and passes every time yet I need to get it done every 6 months. Stupid.
Labour's Policy Vacuum.
Expect "every sucker motive" to be an upcoming feature.
Is Homepaddock a woman?
