Yes, the mother who gave birth to octuplets ealier this week now has FOURTEEN children, according to the Herald's website. She already has children aged 7, 6, 5, 3 and 2-year-old twins, in addition to the eight babies born on Monday.
The woman is reported to live with her parents and children. There is no mention of a father - of any of the children.

The medical ethics of the doctor who gave such excessive fertility treatment to a woman with six children is simply horrifying.
This is yet another egregious example of how monetary considerations displace ethical considerations in American Medicine.
I hadn't considered it from that angle MacDoc, but you're dead right. I was simply struggling with the enormity of the prospect raising 14 children aged less than eight! I guess Mum will have retained an agent by now, and will be hawking her tale to the highest bidder - I'm sure Oprah will pay whatever price is demanded!!
