More like it.

Stuff reports that the Police have today raided a number of Lower Hutt properties in response to intimidation by the Mongrel Mob. Nine patched members and associates were arrested. Here's why:

The operation followed a complaint last week from a distressed woman who said she and her two children - aged two and four - had been intimidated by gang members in the Lower Hutt suburb of Pomare.

"A day after the woman fled her home with the children, her house was [allegedly] seen to be broken into by gang members, and property removed.

"The sort of offending which sparked today's operation is unacceptable. We will continue to take swift action against gangs in this area."

Given that we here at Keeping Stock (me, myself and I) have spoken out recently about the evil of gangs, this is great news. We hope that this marks a turning point for gang culture in New Zealand, and that from the government down, the message will go out - gangs have no place in our society.
