Who cares?

From Stuff:

Sea Shepherd has been repelled from the Japanese whaling fleet in the Antarctic as the whalers employ beefed-up defences.

The hardline group's leader, Paul Watson, said two activists were slightly injured as the whalers repulsed them.

Nearly a day into the renewed pursuit of the fleet far south-east of Tasmania, polar weather moderated enough for Sea Shepherd to deploy small boats and a helicopter from its ship, Steve Irwin.

So two "activists" (or should that be eco-terrorists?) have been slightly injured. Tough. To re-state our initial question - who cares? Not Keeping Stock. If these guys play with fire, they can expect to be burnt.

If these clowns tried to board the Japanese ship isn't that piracy?

Lucky they weren't made to walk the plank.

Too true pdm - but one of these days, one of these pirates/cowboys/eco-terrorists is going to get killed from his own stupidity, and the biased media will make a martyr out of them.

I can't believe that after all these years of indoctrination, I now find myself rooting for the Japanese vs. the whales.
Sad. But the issue of the whales has become for me no longer a cause celeb, but a matter of prudent conservation.
I am now firmly in the camp that says that the whales should be conserved, but not protected.
People have a right to eat, and eat what they want, and if any of us give into PETA and start makeing exclusions because of the "cutness factor" then there will be no stopping the nazis herbivore, aka PETA.
