The Friday Forum - 3/4/09

We're on the ball early today. Mrs Inventory was on the road before 6am, so we are sitting and shiverring on a rather cool morning - whatever happened to Global Warming?

So welcome to Keeping Stock's Friday Forum - your place on the blogosphere to rant, rave and vent your spleen etc etc. This is a worthwhile public service we provide - get all that tension out of your system before the weekend - and of course, darkness will be falling much earlier as of Sunday night - don't forget to put your clocks back!

The Forum's open and raring to go - over to you. And to friends such as pdm and Leg Break - there will be an "Indian Summer" thread up soon!

Good frost out our way, not too cold in town though. Looking for a hot coffee - might have to resort to making one myself...

It's flippin' cold out by the beach, and the sea was particularly audible last night - must have been a very still night out there. At least it looks like it's going to be a good day.

And welcome HIS - I visited your blog yesterday, and will be popping by on a regular basis - I'll add you to my blogroll later in the day. What language is the title?

One of the reasons for the cold morning is that daylight saving has gone on too long. Mutter mumble and roll on the reversion to standard time on Sunday: http://homepaddock.wordpress.com/2009/04/03/pretty-late/

I'm not much of a writer but I do have a few opinions so we'll see how I go. The title is the dutch translation of words that Martin Luther spoke at the Diet of Worms in 1521.

Homepaddock: Next year I plan on phasing in DST over a week or two.

HIS - I may no claims to be a great writer either, but I write about things that matter to me or that I have a strong opinion about, and the words come. Just be true to yourself, and you'll soon find a niche - I'm sure that Ele at Homepaddock will agree/.

One warning though - blogging becomes addictive, and is probably not a good pastime for the self employed, as "time" tends to "pass" very quickly some days!

Considering how much time I spend reading, a little more in posting won't do any harm ;-)...

i'm finding blogging to be highly addictive. i wish i could post thrice daily but i have a day job. i've now become so productive at my work just so i can get at least one post in. terrible terrible.

on days when i can't post i always have that hollow feeling. haha.

don't get me started on twitter.

Indeed $1 Pies - the blogosphere is not the place for anyone with an addictive personality!!

A cool start in the Wairarapa, with a hot, sunny day.

Thee is still a bit of warmth in the air with the sun down.

It's been a glorious day here too OB, but the sun is setting now, and the temperature will drop quite quickly. Just one more night of delayed twilight to enjoy, unless you're a cockie like HP!

By the time kids have been fed, bathed, read to and put to bed- that twilight is history!
