- Zoe Halford, Veitch's wife: We'd call her the forgotten victim. You can read her letter to the Court here. Whatever one may think of Veitch, and by association of her, you have to commend her loyalty. Walking away from Veitch would have been hard, but hanging in and supporting him will have been a darn sight harder.
- The truth: Two sides, two agendae. We will probably never know the truth of what happened in this case. Perhaps that's not such a bad thing.

The Veitch victim chronicles
There are plenty of victims of the Tony Veitch affair. Veitch hilself would claim victim status, but we don't buy that. Sure, he has been harassed by the media, and not everything that has been written about him may have been entirely factual, but he was the one who, in his own words "lashed out", irrespective of any provocation. We reckon there are three main victims:
