... that's what Brian Rudman alleged in his column in the Herald this morning, which we blogged on earlier today.
The photograph above is a montage of the guns found in Jan Molenaar's bedroom - not his home; just the one room! However lethal those weapons may be, none is capable of killing without some form of human direction and intervention; each must be loaded, aimed and fired to do the job for which it is intended.
Len Snee died of gunshot wounds. But let's not lose sight of the fact that Jan Molenaar alone was the one who loaded, aimed and fired the offending weapon. It was Jan Molenaar who had murderous intent last Thursday, not any gun.

Exactly. But mere facts aren't going to stop the hysterical anti-gun crowd, are they?
Quite right KG - the facts never have stopped the anti-gun lobby from its hyperbole, and likely as not, they never will. Especially when they have a bleeding-heart leftie such as Rudman being given column space in the country's largest paper on a far-too-regular basis.
IV2, our local paper (the Wairarapa Times) gives disproportionate space to leftist commenters and the letters to the editor seldom feature a dissenting voice. Thank God for blogs!
