A sight for sore eyes

Stuff is reporting that veteran protestor and Rent-a-Mob organiser John Minto has been arrested whilst protesting outside the ASB Tennis Centre in Auckland.

That's great news, and comes not a moment too soon. Minto seems to believe that it is his birthright to harass those who have paid to watch a sporting event, and to bully a young woman who is doing nothing more than trying to make an honest living.

Now, is it too much to hope that a watch-house keeper at Auckland Central's lock-up could lose the key, once Minto has been placed in a cell?

UPDATE: Shahar Peer has just advanced to the semi-finals of the ASB Classic, so we guess that Rent-a-Mob will be back tomorrow, and that the Police will be called into action once again.

He'll be back again tomorrow. Probably with 12 other protestors and 50 media.

More than likely LB - and there's a 50/50 chance that Peer's opponent will be Japanese, which could attract yet another Rent-a-Mob!

A great day for the Save the Palestinian Whales brigade.
