Stuff is reporting that Malcolm Chaston will face a charge of murdering Vanessa Pickering when he appears in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow. Obviously, the interim suppression order has lapsed.
At least we can now talk openly about him, now that the farcical interim suppression order has expired. But all we will say tonight, given that Chaston has a right to a fair trial, is read this - unless, of course, you live in Christchurch, and think you might be called to serve on a jury some time in the next couple of years. The similarities are striking.
