When worms turn ...

At some point, the worm will turn against John Key's National-led government. But right at the moment, a number of worms continue to turn against the Labour Party.

Take TVNZ for example. Francesca Mold has long been perceived as pro-Labour in her political reporting. Not any more; enjoy this rather grainy footage as she mercilessly lampoons Labour's Extreme Makeover: Party Edition on One News last night

And as for the description of Labour as "sober"; does that tally with what Ian Wishart has disclosed this week? Could Parekura Horomia or George Hawkins ever be described as "vibrant"? Which of "futuristic", "edgy" or "funky" best describes David Cunliffe? And was whoever described the Labour Party as "retro" thinking of Phil Goff, Annette King and Trevor Mallard, the remnants of the Rogernomics era?

Ah, so many questions, and so much fun ...

The Youth MP for Chris Carter would seem to sum up Labour's Brand in some quarters. (And there may be an unintended pun there as well).
