Interesting names for Christchurch residents II

Here's another name for Christchurch residents to add to their alert list:

  • Kyle Paul McEntee (24), unemployed

Here's what McEntee is ALLEGED to have done:

Police alleged McEntee got into the Holy Grail about 9.15am on Saturday, about five hours after a door had been electronically released by the earthquake.

They say he took 32 bottles of alcohol and two cans of energy drink, piled them into a plastic container and headed off along Worcester Boulevard. All of the "loot" has been recovered and returned to the bar.

Judge Doherty noted police concerns that McEntee might offend on bail while the city was "in its current state of emergency and distress".

All our Christchurch friends will doubtless be pleased to know that McEntee has been remanded in custody until next Thursday, so he, at least, will be out of circulation for a few days. And like his colleague Judge Michael Crosbie, we commend Judge Colin Doherty for not suppressing the name of this alleged looter.

Those who are alleged to have taken advantage of Christchurch's despair are the lowest of the low in our always-humble opinion. We will continue to shine the light on their activities.

Its not "looting"..its returnng to the people what has been stolen from them by the capitalist boss class!

Private property is theft.
