We've had some fairly major computer server issues this morning, but all is now well, and we can talk sport.
The Tri-Nations continues on the high veldt in Bloemfontein, and we can't see the end result between the Wallabies and Springboks being any different to last week. The Boks will be keen to finish the Tri-Nations with a flourish, and perhaps give Peter de Villiers a good send-off, given that the knives are out for the hapless coach. On the other hand, Dingo Deans' Wallabies can't seem to win a trick, and no sooner do they finish getting beaten up in the Republic before they head back to Sydney to face an All Black side looking for ten straight wins. Poor Robbie!
The Warriors face the Eeels tomorrow night in Sydney, and as the Dom-Post reports could finish the regular season as high as fourth or as low as eighth. But a win tomorrow night could be just they fillip the Warriors need going into the playoffs.
The Phoenix faces football's longest road-trip as they head to Perth this weekend to take on the top-of-the-table Glory. We're gearing up for a trip to Wellington next week for the Sydney FC match on Saturday night, so if anyone fancies a pre-match ale ...
The Tall Blacks had a terrific 82-70 win over France this morning at the World Champs. That earns them a knock-out match with Russia on Monday morning, with the winner progressing to the quarter-finals; that's an excellent effort from the Tall Blacks.
Lastly, we can't go without mentioning the continued ruckus in cricket. In today's Herald, David Leggat lists cricket's top ten scoundrels, and we'd have to say that if the allegations against the current Paki lads are proven, they should surely succeed Greg Chappell at the head of cricket's Hall of Shame!
That's it from us; the floor is, as always, yours.

Perth Glory, featuring the great Robbie Fowler...how I'd love to see him on the end of Ifill's passes (no, not a plea to sell PI to Perth!)
It's the last round of the UK Superleague and I'm watching closely to see if Warrington can sneak into second place.
Interesting about David Smaill - one of the last guys to stray I would have thought.
What is it with women and golfers - is it the long driver or perhaps the deft touch around the fringes or even their experience in the rough?
Very clever pdm - but I think it's far simpler than that - this, from an e-mail I received today:
SUCCESS
• A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.
• A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
