The whole area of "worship", especially in pentecostal and charismatic churches seems to have become a means to an end, and church leaders have, in our opinion over-complicated it. This song by Redman challenges our attitude to worship, and is all summed up in a couple of lines in the chorus:
I'm coming back to the heart of worship
And it's all about You; all about You, Jesus
And it's all about You; all about You, Jesus
We all too often let "doing church" get in the way of true worship. Just prepping this post this morning has been a bit of a wake-up call to us; we hope it similarly touches the heart of someone out there.
