Here's an important announcement for Keeping Stock readers.
We are over Chris Carter. We're not going to feed his insatiable desire for headlines (good or bad). We've decided that this will be a Keeping Stock Chris Carter-free weekend; a modern-day version of carless days, for those who can remember that part of our history.
We reckon that Phil Goff is probably feeling the same!

Phil in Phil will have other things on his mind because Andrew Little has told him he has to gett working on making NZ a republic.
No rest for wee Philly - Carter or no Carter.
Trevor at Red Alert calling an early Election is this a novel way of ridding Labour of Phil Goff as leader, and focus on building Labour for the future.
I wonder how the mus intends to fund such a campaign,oh yeah, there are all those levies from the poor bloody workers that are labour's core constituency, and the party's needs are greater.FFS.
ps I agree, Chris who.
As a bonus I have been entirely free from any mention of the Troughmaster General for well over a week apart from using that descriptive in my congratulatory txt to Bob the Rebuilder and it gave him a buz as he hadn't heard the late lamented called that before.
No you're not. Yes you will. You can't resist Invent. You've already given him screeeeeeeds of coverage and he only needs to hint at some dirty muck and he'll be back on your front page :-)
(You know it's true!)
We only said "weekend" Robert - we may be able to resist anything expect temptation (apologies to Oscar Wilde), but we reckon that we can refrain from mentioning that person until Monday morning, even if he does something newsworthy.
