The Monday Quote - 18/10/2010

We've been a bit remiss lately, and preoccupied with other things, so the Monday Quote hasn't always had an airing. But we think you'll agree that this one, from John Hartevelt on Stuff is just to good to ignore. Rebutting the Lone Ranger story about John Key in yesterday's Sunday Star-Times, he opines:

But the fact is that Mr Key is out there and he is generally well-received.

Mr Goff, on the other hand is certainly out there too, but he would be more often received with bewilderment.

Despite proving himself a fine senior Cabinet Minister in the fifth Labour Government, and having worked tirelessly and diligently for his country as an MP for nearly 30 years, many people have no idea who Mr Goff is.

Ouch!!!
