It's Bathurst Day; Australia's Great Race is about to begin at Mount Panorama. We'll get there one day; in the meantime we have control of the remote in the lounge for the moment, although our Better Half reckons she has some chill-out MySky viewing to do today, so we may get relegated to the other telly!
We're probably a bit long in the tooth to go and watch the race from atop the mountain; it's pretty tribal up there; not a place for the faint-of-heart. If we can win Powerball next week, we might hire a suite there next year!
So anyway, as the Great Race is about to start, so who are you backing; Ford or Holden? It's the Great Aussie Question!
UPDATE: The V8 Utes are out in the warm-up race, and it's a grey old day at Mt Panorama. If there's a bit of rain about, it's anyone's race, but you can guarantee one thing; action galore!

So I didn't win then? Bugger!
Already in front of telly.
Go Murph!
$27 mil next week PM. Murph certainly looks better at Bathurst than he has all season, and strange things can happen on the mountain, especially if a shower comes over.
Bring it on!
At work trying to catch up after time out of the office last week doing things that had to be done.
So will miss out on watching it.
Ford of course. You can support the creators of the Escort Mexico, 3litre Capri and GT40 or, erm, a bunch of Vauxhalls...you never saw Bodie and Doyle in a Viva.
