We've had a heck of a busy time over the last six months or so. The creative juices haven't been flowing as freely as we would like, and we're aware that quite a lot of our blogging relies on the work of others.
We don't have a problem with that, and we don't try and pass off others' work as our own; we always try to give credit where it is due. It gets up a few commenters' noses, but that's their problem, not ours.
Fear not; we're not about to pull the plug and run away for a while like we did last year; the fact that we're attracting negative comment is probably a good thing! But we're certainly suffering from Blogger Fatigue Syndrome, and if our work hasn't been as cutting-edge as some would like, c'est la vie!
The cure? We have no idea what the long-term cure is, if there is one. In the short term though, the golf course beckons, and we shall go and get some exercise this afternoon. The golf will either be spectacular, or it will be so bad that we'll be in a good mood to blog tonight! We don't so anything by halves!!
We'll see you this evening; don't let that stop YOU though!

Okay. Calm down. Some of us who just lurk these days will come back and comment more often.
Please do SMTC! The walk around the golf course was therapeutic; unfortunately, I saw more of the golf course than usual today, and the walk included unintended destinations! But some of the cobwebs were cleared from the cerebellum, so the end justified the means.

did you not get one? Mine was worth 7.8 cents per week and once I've saved enough for a beer I'll be toast the Government for this little bit extra so we can all do our part in powering up the economy.
Anon, I have had this handle since 2007 when I was constantly being whacked by Labour with its rich prick 39 cents marginal rate. It is just a handle and I see no reason to change it or, in future, justify it to others on someone else's blog you troll. I2, my apologies for the outburst.

I guess this is the beginning of the end then. You almost lost control there and it was getting quite interesting! I guess it's back to Alex, James and PDM from here on in eh? Sounds really insular and closed-minded but that's reality in a seige situation eh? Raise the drawbridge!
At least you can forget about having to maintain any pretence of debate or justifying your position or opinion from now on Invention.
