The Sunday Quote; 3News edition

Oh dear. Have a read of this, from Duncan Garner on 3News:

The latest 3 News Reid Research political poll has the Government stretching its already massive lead over Labour, and Phil Goff continuing to go backwards.

He has almost hit third place as preferred Prime Minister.

Oh dear; oh dear; oh dear. So who is pushing Phil Goff so closely for second place in the Preferred Prime Minister poll? We'll let Duncan Garner fill that gap - read on:

In the preferred Prime Minister rankings, Mr Key surges to 54.1 – but Mr Goff is down two points and only slightly ahead of Helen Clark, who hasn't been in Parliament for two years.

We can only wonder what Phil Goff's New Year's resolution is going to be. Will he hang on and lead Labour to an even worse defeat than it suffered in 2008, or will he come to the realisation that the sound of graunching metal he hears from time to time is the sound of the knives being sharpened? We can't hardly wait to find out!
