Suncorp

On Tuesday, Brisbane authorities were preparing to use Suncorp Stadium as an emergency centre for those displaced by the flooding. Those plans were revised yesterday, and it's easy to see why:




Unsurprisingly, the Wellington Phoenix's trip to Brisbane this weekend has been postponed, which is good news for fans who had tickets in the front two rows!

In the meantime, there is some good news; the Brisbane River's peak in an hour or so is going to be lower than was originally predicted. Sadly though, the damage has already been done both in Brisbane and upstream.
