You'd think that the England cricket team might have had some sympathy for the Australians after their Ashes triumph. Not so.
England continued their dominace over the old enemy last night with a last-ball win in the first T20 match at a packed Adelaide Oval. Not even the tragedy in Queensland could dent the English march. Cricinfo has the details.
There was one bright spot; the punters at Adelaide dug deep for their Queensland countrymen. Cricket has always been to the fore in fundraising, and last night was no exception as the buckets (KFC buckets of course; the T20 sponsor) were passed around. There will doubtless be a similar response when the T20 circus moves to the MCG on Friday night where another full house is highly likely.
Perhaps next time the English will take their foot off the Aussies' throats, but we won't hold our breath!

A record eight-in-a-row T20 wins for England Inv...I'm still not prepared to call it "cricket" though.
That was me ^^ need to work out how to get my goolge account to put in the full name...
I guessed that James from your comments about T20
Perhaps I'll change my name to Captain Obvious then...(testing, testing 1-2-3)
Having watched the Channel 9 coverage I wonder if Beefy called Captain Collingwood a cheat for implying that he had not hit the ball that dismissed him. I admit from front on there was considerable doubt but the replays revealed the new English attitude to "walking" , as the ball clearly ran up the bat edge, and his arm, for a clear caught behind. Collingwood was the best person to know the truth.

I've only watched one innings of the match so far GD, but I will keep a close eye in the incident to which you have referred.
