The Air New Zealand marketing department has produced some great promotion over the last couple of years. The All Black safety video was in the news for all the wrong reasons, and Rico has become an international mega-star, of similar star quality to Dame Edna Everidge.
But today Air New Zealand has unveiled the new Richard Simmonds exercise safety video, and it's great! Cameo appearances from Phil Keoghan and Paul Henry add to Simmonds "unique" style. We reckon that Air New Zealand has come up with a winner!

Last year I flew Air NZ to Australia then Qantas on a domestic flight.
Almost everyone watched the Air NZ safety video, almost no-one watched the Qantas one.
Have you noticed that we are rediscovering humour! This is the real kwi way, John Key does it naturally and so does Air NZ good on them for taping into what is the real kiwi spirit the fine art of taking the piss!
Goes back forever like the story about Montgomery complaining to Freyburg that the NZ Division didn't salute much and Freyburg agreeing but said 'if you wave they'll wave back!'
It is making Air NZ a real kwi icon
