Although they were inevitable, hearing the message does not make it any easier to bear. Our deepest sympathy, our thoughts and our prayers go out to those for whom hope has been extinguished this afternoon.
Our thoughts too are with all those who have been involved in the rescue operation. Your heroic efforts will long be remembered.
