It's St Patrick's Day; that oddest of days when even those with no Irish heritage whatsoever become Irish for a few lubricated hours.
We've had a few St Paddy's Day blowouts over the years, each of which has been the cause for regret the next morning. Given that we are advancing in years, we'll be far more temperatenthis year!
So to all out Irish readers (even those who are only Irish today!), here's our toast to you this St Patrick's Day:
May the Good Lord take a liking to you,... but not too soon!

Ah St Paddy's Day...the day each year when I stamp down hardest on the 1/4 Irish part of me...feck it's embarrassing.
