And last night, Robert Guyton alerted us to some support for our view, from a highly expected quarter! Martyn (Bomber) Bradbury blogs:
While on the topic of the Earthquake, let's remind folks that criticism has to be justified, purposely twisting John Key's statements about the farcical missing lists double counting the dead and not releasing those names to the public into suggesting Key was attacking the workers in the mortuary is a gross misrepresentation of what Key said.
Now if you follow the link that Bomber inserted in his post, it takes you to The Standard; not a place we would normally point the wise folk who visit here. Not surprisingly, they don't think that there was anything wrong with TVNZ's conduct, and that Key deserved it anyway.
So in a very rare move, we want to acknowledge Bomber's integrity on this issue, and also that of Robert Guyton who reckons that Key might have been harshly done by. A little bit of integrity goes a long way in this increasingly partisan workd we live in.
