It's Friday again, but we've hardly given a thought to sport this week; For any number of reasons, it's been one of those weeks.
Tonight looks as though it will be the big night of the weekend though, and there's no televised nuptials to compete for TV time! We'll be hoping that the injury-hit Hurricanes can fire against the even worse injury-hit Blues at the Cake Tin. The number of injuries right across the New Zealand Super Rugby squads must be starting to furrow Graham Henry's brow even more than usual, although it's great to see Richie McCaw restored to health and finally getting some rugby in his legs.
The other highlight tonight will be the Anzac League test from the Gold Coast. Traditionally, the Kiwis have struggled in this one-off match, but with some significant wins over the Ockers in the last few seasons, there should be a small measure of confidence in the Kiwi camp. This match should be a cracker.
We haven't looked any further ahead than that, but you can feel free to; after all; this is your forum. The floor is yours ...

You've gotta say that Stormers v Crusaders is looking like the match of the S15 week...I'm picking home advantage will tip it the Stormers way but my Stormers-supporting colleague isn't so confident.
Back in the old country there's the small matter of Utd v Chelski...obviously the EPL is a long way removed from *real* football but all London teams (except Barnet) are to be despised so hoping the Reds sew up the league.
Where have you been hiding JS. I agree Stormers Crusaders is the match of the week and while loyalty made me pick the Crusaders like you I think home advantage favours the Stormers.
The Stormers have had a pretty soft draw so far pdm. They are yet to play outside South Africa, and have had a high ratio of home games. The pressure will come on them in the last weeks of the competition. Likewise the Reds; their loss to the 'Canes last week was their first match against a New Zealand team this season. They may have peaked too early.
Nice to be missed pdm - I spent a couple of weeks off the grid in Thailand and then most of this week playing catch-up at work.
Inv I haven't seen much of the Stormers but they and the Crusaders look the class teams of the competition.
I am presently watching the Hurricanes v Blues and it looks like a game of league to me with both teams doing their best to lose. Kaplan's refereeing is poor - how many forward passes and offsides have there been that he has missed.
