Just a brief one this morning due to time constraints, and the fact that we won't be watching a lot of televised sport this weekend.
Either the Blues or the Highlanders will end a losing streak tonight; probably the Blues. The Crusaders SHOULD beat the Hurricanes tomorrow night and win the New Zealand conference, but if any team could beat the Crusaders, it's the mob from Wellington. Had circumstances not intervened, we would probably have been making the trek to the Cake Tin tomorrow night, but no longer. And for a roughie this weekend, we'll tip the Chiefs to upset the Reds.
The Warriors simply MUST beat the North Queensland Cowboys this weekend, or their season will be in danger of imploding. They should, but whether they will or not is another matter; fingers crossed.
Wimbeldon starts next week, whilst Michael Campbell is the sole Kiwi in the US Open at Congressional; US Open course set-ups are traditionally brutal, and this will be no exception.
That's it from us this morning; we have food to eat then places to go and people to see. The floor is yours...
