A chilly Caption Contest

It's bitterly cold here this afternoon. We've had sleety showers and hail on and off throughout the day, the southerly wind is howling in now, Antarctic style, and if the temperature got to 7*, it didn't stay there for long. As we type this it's 5.8*, or -1* when wind-chill is factored in. No snow though; that's a bit of a disappointment!

The brain has been a bit frigid too today, and from comments we've seen around the place, we're not alone in that. So let's try to warm up the grey matter; have a look at this photo that we filched from Twitter, and give it your best shot.

You know the rules; rip into it!

Goff's attempt at a snow angel failed when he realised he had no support on either the left or the right - nothing new there though

Breivik’s attacks were political. An ultra-right, anti-muslim extremist attacked government buildings and members of Young Labour. No doubt I will now be accused of “politicising a tragedy”. But this was a political tragedy from the start. If we are to honour the dead, if we are to take any useful actions as a result of these horrifying events, then the political dimension cannot be ignored.

Aww, here in Nelson my landry was dry by midday *VEG*, a beautiful day, My praying mantis are both still alive on the grapevine and my friend still has Monarch butterflies trying to lay eggs in her garden.
