And North Otago won 24-18 against Mid Canterbury - leaving them a bonus point away from hosting a home final in the Heartland Championship.
Indeed Ele; North Otago will in all probability travel to Wanganui in two weeks' time for the Heartland Championship final. North Otago's failure to secure a bonus point on Saturday was Wanganui's bonus.

Sounds a bit tenuous Inv but still better to be there than where King Country are.
