The English RWC team has arrived home, and apparently their defeat by France and their departure from the tournament in the quarter-finals was all the fault of the media.
The newshounds who forcibly dragged Mike Tindall et al into a Queenstown bar in the early hours of the morning, forced them to toss dwarfs, and forced Mike Tindall to cavort with a young woman must be relentlessly tracked down and thrown in the Tower; off with their heads! And how will the IRB react to Manu Tuilagi jumping ship?
And in other news, South African coach Peter de Villiers didn't resign after all after the Springboks' heartbreaking loss to Australia; his words were just misunderstood. After four seasons of Peter de Villiers' misunderstandings, we're not in the least bit surprised by this latest one!

The awful possibility now arises that maybe Jim Anderton hasn't actully retired as MP for Wigram and that we misunderstood him when he delivered his valedictory speech the other day.
And here was I thinking that de Villiers had more credibility than Henry, Hansen and Smith.
Alf, please; don't even consider the most minute possibility!
