Homeward bound...

Our self-imposed exile from the world has, by necessity, to come to an end today, and we're on our way home.

We've had a great break away; it's been just what the Doctor ordered, quite literally. Both SWMBO and ourselves hadn't realised until we stopped just how we've pushed things this year. Neither of us is getting any younger, and whilst the plan for the last couple of years has been to ease off a bit, we haven't yet found the right balance. These last few days have been very therapeutic though.

But needs must, and we've got deadlines to meet at work tomorrow. We should have time to blog a little when we get home to our whare this afternoon, so stay tuned.

It'll be fantastic to have you back, Inv2. There's so much to talk about.

Yes. Looking forward to some serious policy vs personality debates. ESP the one where proceds from asset sales were put on the books last budget for paying down debt, but now are used to pay for what taxes should pay for. Gee the top 10% must see how well the tax cuts they got have got the country moving! National are just not competent and now that it,s a policy vs personality election they are shown to be even worse.

It's just a shame that you won't be doing any of the talking Robert. If only you'd heeded the multiplicity of warnings; but no; you just kept pushing boundaries.

Welcome back IV2. Just been away too, over the ditch for a week. Great weather in the Gold Coast but all is not so sunny over there - 4 attempted child abductions in the last month, teenagers strangling themselves in a 'game', can't eat in the DSO (designated smoking areas) in pubs/clubs so all the young smoker/drinkers just get more paralytic with no food balance, Qantas/customs/baggage handlers strikes, and even banana's on "special" in the supermarket for $7.95/kg! Meat was cheap though.

Still better off here methinks...

Wow! RG that sounds like you're getting banned!
National is VERY defensive in this campaign so far... which matches their terrible lack of good policy. It's always all about the 'image' with the right, never about the substance.

How can you ban someone Inventory2?
I mean physically. Won't robertguyton just change his name and his IP address and reappear in another guise?

Good question CurlyQ. Robert has said in the past that if he was ever banned, he would not return. I guess we'll see if his deeds match his words; his style of writing is rather distinctive.

But that's his problem; his trolling has finally caught up with him.

And National's muddling will catch up with it.

If National can't get business on side then what's the point of a National government?

I simply hope my fellow voters check out the MP's who would be joining either Key or Goff. The Labour front bench couldn't run a sausage sizzle and add in the Greens, Peters and maybe Harawiri then????
I see Colin Craig is polling high in Rodney

Welcome home, glad you enjoyed the break.
We have an election to win.
The sorry arsed peasants in the Cannabis Kingdom are favoring the thug over the teacher and list education in the same survey as an important focus.
Translate that for me someone.

Colin Craig is certainly worth voting for.
