We picked it!

Tonga 19; France 14

We tipped this result on 5th September:

France on the other hand are the enigmas of world rugby. They can be awful one day, and brilliant the next. We hope that they don't have one of those days that only the French can have when the play New Zealand. And if they lose to New Zealand, don't rule out the possibility of Tonga beating them in the final pool match, especially if they have had a hard physical contest with the All Blacks; c'est La France!

We tipped this result again this morning:

The 6pm match is full of intrigue. Don't discount the possibility of Tonga giving France the grandfather of frights. If the French turn up with anything less than 100% commitment and passion, they will find themselves swarmed by red jerseys. Even before the tournament began, we tipped this match as a possible upset. On the other hand, if the French are in one of their je ne sais quois moods, they could win by a wide margin. It's that French unpredictability that makes their matches so much fun to watch!

Well done I2.

Well done tonga.

Just ambled back from EP after watching the Scotspush th Poms hard.

Quite frankly the Poms were rubbish.

Mind you why the Scottsdale didn't plug the corner with the wind is beyond me.
