Another record month

No; James Stephenson isn't Inv2, but he's part of the team here at Keeping Stock now. So he's entitled to share in the glory of our latest monthly statistics which show a third consecutive record month.

The graph above tracks our monthly visit numbers and page views over the last twelve months. We achieved in excess of 20,000 unique visits for the first time in August, and blew that figure out of the water in October. And as far as the page views figure goes, we exceeded 30,000 for the first time in September, then saw an almost 20% increase in October.

As the election draws nearer, we'd expect a continuation in this upswing. And sometime between now and the election, we'll be welcoming our 500,000th visitor to Keeping Stock; we've come a long way from the days when 5000 visitors in a month was considered busy!

So thanks everyone; it's you folk coming back and visiting that give us the encouragement to carry on, and your continued patronage is very much appreciated.

I come here to read RG's excellent counter views to your rather restrictive beliefs INV2. I see he's been banned for not toeing your line which is ironic considering the persecution of Christians over the years. I;ll continue to visit his site nad hope you contribute there instead.
I won't be coming back until there are some differing opinions from knowledgable people.

Good luck with your troaty statistics!

What's a troaty?

Whatever amuses you Claudius. One of the reasons that Robert's views are temporarily unwelcome here is indeed because he DOES have his own blog, which means that he doesn't need to troll here to have his voice heard. But I've gone to the time and effort of establishing this blog, and I'm entitled to have rules; rules which Robert was only too familiar with, but chose to ignore.

"I come here to read RG's excellent counter views" .. what?
Counter views are great but Guyton simply dumped boring snide remarks and seldom added substance to those views.
I checked his blog a few times and it was devoid of any debate about anything just photos of bees on a window-sill and bugs.
I suggest to go there as well and debate with him directly

"Beware the ire of the patient man".
Unfortunately I cannot recall the author of this appropriate aphorism.
I am in awe of your seemingly infinite patience, Inventory2, and applaud your judgement in finally acting upon your countless requests to the offender, who either simply ignored your repeated warnings or set out to goad you even further. Claudius appears to be of a similar Christian-baiting mould, so should not be missed either.

Oi Jabba; this post's about us; not him!

But you did leave out the countless unflattering photos of John Key with inane comments that someone else's blog seems obsessed with...

A troaty is like a trophy (if that's the same thing you mean Claudius) a good crack up. Bit of humour. Laughter is the best medicine etc...

'A troaty is like a trophy'.

Thank you for enlightening me Herod. See you learn something new everyday! Not sure why Claudius couldn't just say trophy though. And excuse my simple nature, although I love a good laugh I don't get the joke.

Another contribution to your increasing stats IV2...

Keep up the good work IV2. Balance is always nice but not often seen.

A record month and a long weekend in Fiji - congratulations on both.

Well done on the blog stats Inv2 and team.

What it demonstrates to me is that your content and views, and the way you encourage reasonable debates are of interest to a good number of people.

With regard to RG - I would struggle to agree with Claudius comment about excellent counter-views and knowledgable people. I have found it very difficult to engage RG in a reasonable debate as he very rarely answers a question, but just jumps to the next pet point. Very typical troll behavior, sadly.

Given that he has managed to get suspended or completely banned from a number of blogs, this would suggest you have not been at all unreasonable.

I would also hasten to add that I have noted your beliefs to be reasonably enlightened within the range of Christian 'belief positions' and not overly restrictive at all.

I wish you continued success with this blog over the months ahead. I certainly enjoy the opportunity to read the range of opinions, and contribute comments occasionally.

All credit to your trolls - the vital stats would be in a sorry state without them!

It's an ill wind...
