Emmerson on NZ First and drainpipes

We get the impression that NZ Herald cartoonist Rod Emmerson isn't overly disappointed (from a professional point of view at least) that NZ First and Winston Peters are back in Parliament.

Why would we think that? Check this out:

We wonder what Winston will think of his latest portrayal...

Winston is the pied piper.
The others are the rats who will dance to his tune.

Wow, three attacks on NZ First from the Herald in the last two days (two attacks on Andrew Williams via a gleefully reported interview with the new minister for herbaceous borders and a nasty little Takapuna vox pop and this cartoon). I think we ca conclude the NZ Herald will campaign tirelessly to get rid of NZ First in 2014.

Alternatively, I can recognise Garner, Espiner, Campebell and Sainsbury, but who is the fifth one?

Key, Joyce, Collins, Tolley and the opposition are all rats who work in the sewer that is parliament says this cartoon. Pretty vulgar humour. Nasty post from a nasty blogger too.

I feel a lawsuit from Winston coming on......

@ Lindsay; more likely a threat of a lawsuit. WRP has a history of being big on the threats, but less large in carrying them through.
