We'd be lying if we said we weren't interested in our readership statistics; we check Sitemeter regularly. And when the end of November rolled around, we'd had another record month.
Both our visitor numbers and page views were higher than any previous month, despite the fact that November was only a 30-day month. Naturally, the General Election can be blamed for it, rather than any particular improvement in the quality and readability of our blogging; when all's said and done, we're realists! And certainly traffic in the days leading up to the election was at levels we haven't experienced before. So thanks for your interest and support.
Why then is "nek minnit" in the title line? Well; we're a bit blogged out, and December's going to be a busy month at work, so we'll be throttling back a bit on the blogging side of things, and putting a bit more time and effort into productivity. There'll still be content every day, but not at the same level as the pre-election period where we spent far too much time online. And with the election done and dusted, there'll be time to focus on some of the other things that take our interest.
Thanks again to all who stop by here, and especially those who take the time and trouble to comment, even if they don't agree with our view of the world. It's you folk who make the blogosphere what it is.
And nek minnit, it'll be Christmas; where's 2011 gone?
