The second thing that came through on that speech loud and clear was something that took me 25 minutes to cotton on what it was. It took a long time. It was slow but it was there. It was the quiet sound of David Cunliffe plotting.
David Shearer may have his hands on the leadership of the Labour caucus at the moment, but that won't stop Labour's opponents from stirring the pot.

I did not see all of Shearers speech but what I did see indicated that Labour had made the right choice. He was more rational and sensible than any of his recent predecessors including Clark.
All he has to do now is wear his chest protector back to front to keep the knives out of his back.

Loving Shearers wiki page, he is a "humanitarian worker" which is a huge wank in its self but its wasted he doesn't realize some of the creatures in his caucus hardly qualify as human
