It's Friday again; thank goodness. This has been the first full working week of 2012 for us, and it's been a long one; thank goodness it's Wellington Anniversary Day on Monday, and we can grab an extra day off!
It's also been a dry and sunny week, by and large. We've already had more than January's average rainfall after a record wet December, and the sun is most welcome. Who knows; we might yet get a summer!
But we digress; the Friday is your place to postulate, procrastinate (if you're looking for a reason to avoid work) and publish your thoughts on any issue that takes your fancy. All we ask is that you show a modicum of respect for other people's views; after all, the blogosphere would be a boring place if we all agreed on everything!
So that's it from us; the floor is yours...

For some reason, I am indeed at work, when I should really be gearing up for Soundgarden at Big Day Out.
An awesome band in their prime, I saw them support G'n'R and then left before the headliners in 1991 (? I think). I hope this reformation lasts and they come back with their own tour.
I've never been to a BDO, and now it appears I never will...still I've done a few Glasto's and Reading festivals so no loss eh?
Inv - how was the golf the other day?
I didn't realise you were a professional golfer Iv2.
Have you been reading Tony Marryat's paper on "clearing your head and thinking straight".
Yes Iv2, as I said elsewhere, I don't think I'll be inviting you out for a round next time you're in Christchurch :)
