It's Wellington Anniversary Day today. And because the powers-that-beway back when included everything up to Wanganui (on this side of the island) in the greater Wellington province, we celebrate with the capital city.
And true to form, the overnight rain has moved out, but there's a fresh southerly blowing, and it's decidedly cool this morning. But it looks like it's going to be a pretty reasonable sort of a day, especially as we don't have to go to work!
So to our readers outside the Wellington province; enjoy work or whatever today, as we enjoy a day's respite. Of course the tables will be turned next Monday when the Auckland province grinds to a halt, and then we can all have a holiday the following Monday for Waitangi Day!

Have a good day I2.
Why not use the day to go on a "course".
That is the plot I am hatching at the moment, for next week.
It's a bit breezy for that particular "course" QH, and the garden needs some attention. Wednesday afternoon will be the regular golfing sortie.
