We've had a busy day in Auckland today with a couple of important meetings. We've covered a fair bit of territory, and sampled a selection of Auckland's epicurean delights since arriving yesterday afternoon.
We're off to catch up with family tonight, and the GPS has proved invaluable, especially as we navigated out west this morning; somewhere I haven't been for years!
We did briefly consider a trip to Eden Park last night, but the prospect of a perfectly-cooked steak down in the new Wynyard Quarter was more enticing than the Zimbabwean cricketers. The steak exceeded expectations; and although Zimbabwe was more competitive, we reckon that we made the right decision.
Right; time to put the GPS to the test again. We like visiting Auckland, but we doubt that we could live here.
