It's one year today since Christchurch was rocked by a devastating earthquake which claimed 185 lives.
It will be a sobering day for many people today, ourselves included. We knew three people who lost their lives in the quake, and we will be remembering them today on the anniversary of their respective deaths. In addition, we have staff, friends and family members who suffered significant losses; some of whom are still in a state of limbo.
We'll be posting a more significant tribute later in the day, but in the meantime our thoughts, our prayers and our aroha are with the people of Christchurch today. The road ahead is long, but your resilience is without question, and a better Christchurch will emerge from the rubble of 22/2/2011.
