It's also one of our favourite versions of this song; from the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium in April 1992 (cripes; almost 20 years ago!). George Michael fronts Queen with support from the London Gospel Community Choir in a fantastic live performance that was full of soul and probably stole the show on a magical night; here 'tis:
Have a great day!

Interesting that you should pick a song written and sung by Homosexuals to celebrate "love".
Even more so as the homosexual they seek to pervert the meaning of Marriage, the fundamental institution in a civilized and free society that helps keep it that way.
Thus do great civilizations decline and fail as those who are heirs to their greatness fail to grasp what make them great and fritter it all away in pursuit of mindless hedonism
Funnily enough Andrei, I viewed this post earlier this morning, and thought to myself, good on KS for posting two well-known gay guys, despite his being openly and proudly religious. That type of Christianity, to this Atheist, is admirable, and surely more Christ-like than yours?
Well I suppose Suz that the fact that one of these well-known gay guys died of a disease associated with a promiscuous "gay" lifestyle while the other is noted for finding romance in public toilets with anonymous partners might have give me pause for thought.
I've got kids you see and I'm not at all sure that sanctifying degrading behaviours that can lead you to an early grave is all that good an idea.
I'm a parent too Andrei, to an intelligent, caring, kind teenager who also happens to be a staunch Atheist. I'm proud that he doesn't discriminate against minorities, including those, who for instance are "lead to an early grave" through either HIV/AIDS or being in the wrong part of CHCH at the wrong time.
I'll bet you told him not to smoke.
So why are you discriminating against smokers Suz?
I regularly sky-dive and bungy jump Andrei, so probably in the minority in that respect...not quite sure what your point is?
I'd be gutted if my son was shagging some stranger, regardless of gender, in a public toilet. But I do feel you are doing a disservice to the gay community by assuming they're all promiscuous whores, attempting to "pervert the meaning of Marriage."
@ Andrei; I'm patently aware of the sexuality of both George Michael and the late Freddie Mercury, Quite what that has to do with anything is beyond me; after all half the entertainment community is either gay or bisexual.
As It happens, a close family member of mine is gay, so even though I'm a Christian, I'm neither homophobic nor a hater. And I have kids too, and I hope that my values of loving people unconditionally even if you don't agree with what they're doing have rubbed off on them.
@ Suz - thanks for the kind words of support, but just a minor correction. I'm not religious at all, but I do have a relationship with God through Christ. In many ways, the two concepts (religion/relationship) are mutually exclusive. I don't like the laws that man-driven religion imposes, whereas my relationship with my maker is based on His grace, even when I stuff up as I do frequently!
@Suz. What is the difference between an atheist and a "staunch" atheist?
By the way, how many jumps ya done?
@Anon..I guess "staunch" in my son's case 'cos he's quite intrigued by Evolution/Creationism, reads Richard Dawkins, visits an Atheist Daily web-site, and when asked to describe himself, atheist is pretty high on the list. I'm personally not that bothered ;)
Guess I've done close to 20 jumps now, but all tandem...too much of a sook to go for AFF.
Quite what that has to do with anything is beyond me;
You don't see the incongruity in this?
Andrei; it's a piece of music, not a statement of faith or a social commentary. I don't see it as incongrous in the slightest.
