Watch this space...

Cameron "Whaleoil" Slater seems to have landed a big fish.

He's met face-to-face with Tania Wysocki, the beneficiary trotted out before the media last week by Jan Logie from the Greens and Jacinda Ardern from Labour, and guess what; all is not as it seems.

He's released two instalments so far, with the promise of more to come. It might be beer and popcorn time...

Even your hardened - totally lacking in any form of empathy - commenters might backtrack when they hear what Slater has to say about her - and what the media and Labour have done to her.

I won't hold my breath though and will continue to search trade me for a suitable cow and a push bike for Tania.

Oh - and a field of wheat for her bread making.

You'll have noted of course Jackie that my primary focus has been on those who have exploited Ms Wysocki for political purposes; most notably Jacinda Ardern and Labour, Jan Logie and the Greens, and Matt McCarten. It seems that my cynicism was well founded.

One taxpayer money sponge defending another taxpayer money sponge.

Slater has as much credibility as the Red party or television "journalism".

Jacqueline, forget trademe, go out looking. far better results that way and don't forget to take a couple of buckets when you pushbike down to the sea - bread needs salt.

Jacqueline, you would be surprised about some of us commenters, really surprised.

My view is anything Herald presents is a superficial once over lightly effort designed to fill in the bits between the adverts.

Keeping Stock is now an automatically moderated blog, one step from NoLeftTurn's 'no comment' format.
Autocrats both.

this story was released by the MSM with the help of Ardern. We read the story and deserve to believe the story is full and factual. I lacked empathy about her situation based on the presented story.
The fact that is seems to be misleading piece of crap is a reflection on the "reporter" and Ardern. Shame on them, good on Cam to present the real story. I look forward to Collins and Ardern saying sorry, we were wrong in what we presented BUT I won't hold my breath.

Nice try Anon, but there's method in the madness, if you care to read this:

Slater! That bleeding-heart liberal p.c. commie.

Noted KS.

I am disgusted by our media and Labour.

That doesn't change the fact that a lot of people were quick to write Tania off / put her down / make ridiculous suggestions for how she should be living her life while THEY support her etc etc.

Truth is - Tania has paid taxes her whole adult life until these past couple of years. Now she needs help.

Is that not the exactly type of person that our welfare system is supposed to be there to help?

Try giving people who are worse off than yourselves the benefit of the doubt once in awhile people.

Sage advice. I will admit the my perception is coloured somewhat by the state funded solo mum I knew once who had a 50" plasma, sky digital, a PS3 and entitlement mentality from hell.

Maybe she was already a prostitute Ciaron - because she sure as heck didn't afford those on the DPB.

A pro she was not. Without going into all the details, she was on a good wicket.
