Yesterday, we blogged on the apparent widespread public acceptamce of what's going to be a frugal Budget when Bill English delivers it in a fortnight.
Today, there's another Stuff poll that has been even more emphatic, and responded to in even greater numbers (almost 19,000 at the time we took this screenshot) providing an more statistically valid outcome. It's on the subject of the government offering free contraception to beneficiaries. Here 'tis:
Paula Bennett will be heartened by the public response. The usual suspects (including Sue Bradford, Clare Curran and the Green Party) have suggested that this is "intrusive", and a step towards government-led eugenics, but that is patently not the intention of the policy initiative.

Polls eh!
The vast majority of New Zealanders when polled say they don't want their energy assets sold.
Guess that means Key will pull the pin on that stupid idea and you, Keeping Stock, will accept that New Zealand opposes the sale of assets.
Eh!
The public gave its verdict on the Mixed Ownership Model on 27/11/2011; and welfare reform.
National formed a government; therefore it has a mandate. And use some honesty; there are NO state assets being sold.
Totally irrelevant Anon (7.19am) - if all you can do is copy ans paste comments from other blogs which have nothing to do with this post, go away.
Trevor's challenge to Collins is great news, isn't it, KS.
It all adds to the excitement of politics. Clearly, he's got her pinned and wriggling. I'll bet she's NEVER going to sue him. EVER.
What do you think? She's all bullshit, isn't she!!
@ Anon (8.11am) - I'll leave your post up, just so people can see the irrelvancy I tolerate on a daily basis.
BTW; your writing is very similar in style to that of a commenter who is banned here. If you are he, be gone; you're not welcome here, for the very reasdon that this post displays.
