Breaking news; Trevor has a sense of humour!

There has been a significant discovery in Parliament this afternoon. After much speculation, it has been discovered that Trevor Mallard does indeed have a sense of humour.

Here's the video of Q7 from Question Time this afternoon; Trevor Mallard questioning John Banks ostensibly about Charter Schools. It takes a primary question and several supplemetary questions to get there, but when Mr Mallard delivers the coup de grace, it's a moment of genuine humour:

Props also to John Banks for adding to a memorable moment in what was otherwise a rather lacklustre Question Time, all things considered.

In all these roles and at all times, Ministers are expected to act lawfully and to behave in a way that upholds, and is seen to uphold, the highest ethical standards.
Banks fails that test. Time for him to go.

Todays question time showed how impressive Lockwood Smith is. Both Mallard and Peters tested Eric Roy today and he struggled to contain them. Lockwood would have dealt to them and one or perhaps both may have been ordered from the house for challenging the Speaker.
