Christian Music Sunday - 6 May 2012

The last couple of days here have been glorious here, with stunning sunrises and sunsets; wonderful reminders of God's creation. And tonight of couse, we'll get to see the Supermoon, thanks to cloudless skies.

We'd decided then what song to use today, but we'd never seen this version with its stunning images of space provided by the Hubble telescope; developed 2600-plus years after the prophet Isaiah said:

Look at the night skies:
Who do you think made all this?
Who marches this army of stars out each night,
counts them off, calls each by name
—so magnificent! so powerful!—
and never overlooks a single one?

Isaiah 40:25-26 (The Message)

There are no streetlights where we now live. And we get some amazing views of the night sky that just blow us away. But we think you'll agree that the images that accompany the video are something else again:

We hope that this offering blesses you richly today. And when the Supermoon rises tonight, just remember who created this light-show!
