Emmerson's Rogue's Gallery

Herald cartoonist Rod Emmerson has produced another cracker this morning, in the wake of John Key's candid comments about media coverage of his second-term government; check this out:

There are some great memories evoked there; a veritable Rogue's Gallery of all our PM's since Sir Robert Muldoon swept to power in 1975. He's even managed to be completely even-handed, with four Labour PM's and four National PM's to characterise.

Compare this to Trace Hodgson's nastiness of Monday. We've long maintained that Emmerson is the best in his field in New Zealand at the moment, and here's yet another example of why.

I'm afraid I don't share your admiration of this fellow KS.

Just another typically dishonest effort from Herald slime

Much to my shock and amazement I have to agree with Tinman (though I wouldn't use 'slime').

Hardly even-handed when Muldoon is drawn with what appears to be a pig's nose.

And they're all meant to be PMs? I took what is obviously meant to be Mike Moore, then, for Bob Tizard, and Jenny Shipley for Ruth Richardson so not even a particularly good caricature.
